Domestic Assistance and Yard Maintenance

Need some help around the house? We have experienced staff to assist you in your day to day chores to your big spring cleans. From mopping, dusting, vacuuming, laundry, bed sheet changes to window and gutter cleaning to help keep your home clean and clutter-free.

Accommodation/Tenancy

Our qualified team will support you to find a place that you can call home on your terms. A home needs to support both your wants and your needs.

Assist Access/Maintain Employment

Assistance to enable a participant to obtain and/or retain employment in the open labour market or to work in specialised and supported work environments.

Assist Personal Activities
Sample Title

CHCS support workers work swiftly and carefully to keep you as autonomous as possible by helping you attend to your personal care needs, this includes, showering, grooming, and dressing you to start or end your day. Overall, we provide you with care, assistance, or supervision of your personal tasks of your daily life. These supports can be daily or nightly supports and can involve overnight stay for our participants.

Assist Prod-Pers Care/Safety

Aids and equipment for personal care or safety including beds and pressure mattresses, toilet and bathroom equipment, specialised clothing and continence needs.

Assist-Life Stage Transition

We provide support assistance to all different age groups, and we understand that each person can be experiencing a different stage of their life, whether it be completing high school, finding employment or learning to live independently which includes grocery shopping or attending doctor appointments. These activities involve becoming a functioning member of your community. Assisting you in transition can range from many activities to introduce skills to you and help maintaining them.

Palliative Care

Assistive Technology

Through the help of assistive technology your needs can be met, we provide specialist disability aids and/or equipment to assist you in your daily life, this includes vision and hearing equipment, personal mobility equipment such as wheelchairs and personal protective equipment.

Community Nursing Care

We provide the provision of nursing care to promote your well-being including preventive monitoring of ongoing conditions and provision of direct treatments, wound and medication management.They also assist in the development of care plans.

Development-Life Skills

At CHCS we know it is a challenge to learn new skills, so we assist you in creating goals that you can reach in order to become more independent. Our care team members provides support with the skills you need to improve daily experiences and interaction, and to be a functioning and contributing member of your community. These include:


• General life skills development such as learning ways to cook meals, personal hygiene, maintaining cleanliness in your home, communicating with service providers, transport and travel, social interactions within the community.

• Individual life and personal skills: social skills, interpersonal relationships, regulations of emotions and personal safety.

• Support with the skills you need to improve your daily experiences and interactions. Innovative community participation.

Home Maintenance

Have a loose screw? need to change a light bulb or smoke alarm replacement? Or a leaking tap? We lend a hand if you require repairs to your home, we help with maintaining it and keep it in good shape, fixing minor problems before they become major.

Yard Maintenance

We understand that keeping your home clean also means maintaining your yard. We provide services such as lawn mowing, gardening, hedging, weed removal, fertilisation and general yard maintenance.

Home Modifications
Sample Title

If you need your house to be more equipped to help you getting around, modifications such as wheelchair ramps or grab rails can allow elderly people have greater independence. It involves changing structures, layouts, or fittings such as widening doorways or altering bathrooms and kitchens to allow you to safely move around your home, supporting your independence and reducing the risk of injury.
